About TraderJack

TraderJack operates a UK home improvement cost calculator website at traderjack.uk. We help homeowners understand project costs and request quotes, and we help trade businesses connect with potential customers in their chosen areas.

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to businesses that register for a TraderJack business account and subscribe to our lead and listing service. If you only use the site as a homeowner to view costs or request quotes, the consumer information on our listings and quote forms applies to you; these business terms are not intended to create a trade subscription between you and TraderJack.

Our service for businesses

When you subscribe, you may be listed on relevant local cost calculator pages (subject to completing your business profile and selecting services and locations). You may receive quote requests from visitors whose projects match your chosen services and areas, in accordance with your subscription status shown in your dashboard.

We provide access to leads and visibility on our platform. We do not guarantee a minimum number of enquiries, contracts, or revenue. You are responsible for how you contact customers, quote, and perform work.

Subscription plans and payment

Paid plans (for example monthly subscription or one-off lifetime access where offered) are processed by Stripe. Prices and plan details shown on our website or dashboard at the time you subscribe apply to your purchase.

By subscribing, you authorise us and Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for the plan you select. You must provide accurate business and billing information.

Monthly subscriptions — ending your contract

If you are on a monthly subscription, you may end the contract by stopping payment — cancel your subscription in Stripe (via the link provided when you subscribed, or through your bank or card provider’s recurring payment controls) so that no further monthly charges are taken.

When your subscription period ends and is not renewed, your access to leads and featured listing benefits will end in line with your account status in the dashboard. We do not require a separate notice period beyond cancelling the recurring payment, unless we state otherwise in writing for a specific promotion.

Lifetime or one-off plans

Where we offer a one-off lifetime or long-dated access plan, the scope and duration of access will be described at checkout and in your dashboard. These plans are not monthly rolling contracts; different cancellation and refund rules may apply as stated at the time of purchase.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep your profile accurate (business name, contact details, services, and locations).
  • Comply with UK law, including consumer protection, data protection, and any trade or licensing requirements for your work.
  • Respond to enquiries professionally and do not misuse customer contact details.
  • Do not attempt to scrape, resell, or redistribute leads or site content without permission.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, misled customers, or harmed the platform or other users. We may update features, pricing, or these terms; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

Disclaimer

Cost estimates on TraderJack are guides only, not quotes. We are not a party to any contract between you and a homeowner. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss of profit, indirect loss, or disputes arising from your work or customer relationships, subject to your statutory rights.
